Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Partner – Fund Services to lead and scale our fund administration practice. This senior leadership role focuses on building operational excellence through SOC 1 process development, optimizing technology stacks, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, deep technical knowledge, and a proven track record in business development and operational innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • SOC 1 Implementation: Design, build, and implement SOC 1 compliance processes, ensuring robust internal controls and seamless audit readiness.
  • Process Optimization: Develop scalable processes to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy across fund administration services.
  • Technology Oversight: Evaluate, recommend, and implement fund administration technology stacks to align with operational and client needs.

Team Building and Management

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of fund administration professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

Client and Business Development

  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Drive business development efforts to expand the client base, leveraging industry expertise and networks.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and ensure tailored solutions.

Strategic Contributions

  • Provide thought leadership on industry trends and operational advancements.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership to align fund administration services with the broader organizational strategy.
  • Offer input on firm-wide initiatives, including compliance, technology integration, and service delivery models.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or equivalent is required with other credentials such as CFA or CAIA desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience in fund administration, private equity, venture capital, or related financial services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing SOC 1 compliance processes.
  • Strong understanding of fund administration and accounting platforms such as LemonEdge, Investran, Allvue, Dynamo, and QuickBooks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • A track record of successful business development and client relationship management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in fund administration.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
